Blue Note Brewing Co.
Woodland, CA
Style: Kolsch
Alcohol: 5%
IBUs:
Serving Style: kegs and cans
Availability: Year-round at the Woodland brewery and nearby Northern California cities
Appearance: “Light-golden shade with white, foamy, but not-too-tall head. Clear rather than cloudy.”
Aroma: “Seems like there’s actually some malt and hops to come. Smell is appealing, but I can’t describe it exactly.”
Taste: “It seems malty at first, but it’s not one-dimensional at all. The hops are there and give a good balance. The finish is nice and crispy.”
Food Affinity: “I think this style of beer lends itself to food pairing much better than some of the heavier IPAs. In this warm weather it would go well with cevche. Maybe with tortilla chips and good, homemade guacamole?”
