Appearance: “Well, it’s not crystal clear, but I guess the style is not to be that way. It’s seems to be a nice light golden color with that characteristic ‘haze’.”
Aroma: “Wow, there’s some citrus going on here. I’m sure that it’s accomplished through the hop varieties used, but it's almost like fresh orange juice was added.”
Taste: “There’s a good bite from the hops, but they don’t seem to overpower, as with some IPAs. The overall impression is one of fullness, roundness. It’s a nice balance.”
Food Affinity: “This is tough. I’d try to match some rich citrussy-flavored dish. Maybe pieces of chicken breast in a sticky orange glaze. Yeah, throw in some fresh ginger and red pepper flakes, too. What’s that called? I don’t know yet, I think I just made it up.”
